Date : 10th June 2020.

My dear Aai Baba,
Are you surprised to see this letter? I wanted to talk to you about this, but then I thought I will be able to express myself better in a letter. Whenever I have asked you to listen to me, you turned a deaf ear or were too busy to pay attention.
You have always wanted me to take up Science and become a doctor or an Engineer and join the IIT to fulfil your dreams. But frankly, I am interested in Humanities and would like to pursue Arts with Psychology as my major subjects. I have a flair for languages and also have observing people. All my friends come to ask my advice. I feel that I can make a difference in people's life if I become a counsellor. On doing my Ph.D I will still become a doctor, though not a medical one. I hope you think over, that I have taken great courage to write.

I love you both and thank you for everything.
Your loving son/daughter.
